Adding a Hearing to an Uncovered Bundle
Once a bundle has been created and published, hearings may be added to that bundle but two different scenarios will occur. The first and least complicated would be adding a hearing to a bundle that has not been selected by an attorney to be covered. The second would entail "offering" that hearing to an attorney to cover as part of the previously published and accepted bundle. (To read more on this topic go to Adding a Hearing to a Covered Bundle)
We will cover the first scenario in this post.
To begin with, you will need to select the corresponding bundle and "Add Hearing" to that bundle.
To do this click on the "Bundles" link near the bottom of the left-hand column of the home screen. The link can be found under the grey "More" button.
You will then be taken to the Bundles list page, which displays all your current available bundles, unpublished as well as published. Select the bundle you would like to add a hearing to by clicking on the blue link with the Date and Time of that hearing.
Pro tip: If you need to find a bundle created by a different user, click the "Include Bundles I Did Not Create" box in the upper right-hand corner.
This will take you to the Bundle view page, which displays bundle pricing and information. To add a new hearing click on the orange "Add Hearing" button on the upper left side of the information box.
You will arrive at the Add Hearing page. Please fill out this form with as much information as possible to better prepare the attorney to meet your expectations in the courtroom. (Anything with a red asterisk * next to it is required.) Then click the orange "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
Please note: you will not be able to edit the State, County, court, or Hearing date. This information is locked as part of the bundle.
You have now successfully added a hearing to a previously published bundle. Docketly will be working hard to get these hearings covered for you!
