Auto Create Next Hearing from Reports
Docketly appearance counsel will often collect the date & time of the next court date in their hearing report. Most likely, you will be posting that hearing on the Docketly website when you are ready. This feature allows our system to post it for you automatically.
Setup
Only the master user on your account can turn on this setting.
The master user will click on the application link on their home page or visit https://docketly.com/client/edit.
Scroll down to the Hearing Reports section and check the box for Automatically Create Next Hearing.
If you want to create hearings from reports in one State, select the State.
You can create hearings from reports by State by selecting the State. Or you can select specific counties by selecting the county in the drop-down.
Workflow
Once a day, usually late at night, our system will scan all reports published and look for hearings coming up in the next 7 days where the next hearing dates were given in the hearing report. The new hearings will be created using the settings from the prior hearings, except for:
Date & Time - We will use the new one.
Department - If the attorney supplied a new or different department number, we will use the new one.
Hearing Type (Service) - If the attorney supplied a new one, we will use that one. Otherwise, the new hearing will be created with the same service type as the original hearing.
Once the hearing report is published, an email will be sent to the user who created the hearing about the new hearing.
