Publish Hearings

If you need to create hearings in the Docketly system but not send them to coverage right away, you can set publishing rules. This means your hearings won't be sent out to coverage until you publish them.

Publishing a Single Hearing

From Hearing Page

Once your hearing is ready to be published, you can do so by clicking the Publish button in the upper left corner of the hearing page.

From Publisher

If you need to publish hearings in bulk, use the Publisher page. You can access it via the orange Publisher button in the left side menu.

Once on the Publisher page, you can click on the Publish link next to the hearing, or simply check the boxes of all hearings you wish to publish and click Publish Selected button at the bottom of the page.

Publishing a Bundle

When you are done filling in the information for your last hearing in the bundle, you can click on "Save & Publish."

You can also publish the bundle from the Bundle page.

From Publisher

When you publish any hearing from the bundle via the Publisher page, the whole bundle gets published. The hearings that are bundled will have a plus sign next to the locator, e.g. LTV34T+ and a column “# Hearings' will have a count listed.

In-House

The Publisher Page can streamline the process of assigning in-house attorneys to appearances. This feature is designed to reduce the number of clicks required to assign appearances.

Assign an In-House Attorney

  • Select the hearings from the left hand column

  • Select the attorney from the drop down

  • Click “Assign Selected”

Once the in-house attorney is selected they will be listed in the corresponding rows.

Publish Assigned Hearings

  • After assigning attorneys, click the Publish button in the Actions column for each hearing.

  • For bulk publishing:

    • Select multiple hearings by checking their corresponding checkboxes.

    • Click the Publish Selected button at the bottom of the page.
